And we're almost through 2024.  It doesn't seem that long ago we were counting down to it, does it?  Well, I wish you a cool Yule from this longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.  Curl up with a good book (might I suggest The Front Yard War?) or jam some tunes (might I suggest Gang Of Foreigner?), but whatever you do, I hope you have a good time and take that fun into 2025!  See you next year!

Cool Yule 2022!

Well, if you're reading this and it's a new post, then we made it through yet another year (or close enough anyway)!  It was pretty eventful.  I did some press (one of which was the most popular post of the year), did some What Wred's Reading, had some fun, published Fast Guy Slows Down, told you about some scripts I wrote, put out a print edition of Blog Love Omega Glee, published some drinkdrankdrunk,  put out some singles, commented on politics, made some comics, recorded a new album, and did a bunch more stuff (just read the 2022 posts of the blog).

Whew!  That's a lot!  So now it's time to take the rest of the year off!  I hope you have a cool Yule!  If all goes well, see you in 2023!

Well, we made it through yet another year (close enough anyway), so hooray!  I hope that we all have a cool Yule and an even better 2022!

Well, that's a wrap on this blog for another year!  And, I suppose the decade as well.  We'll see what 2020 and the Twenties in general have in store for us.  Until then, I hope that you have a cool Yule!  

Looking back, on the blog, I released a few songs this year including an album of the noisy demos.  I also chucked up some poems that needed a good home.  I even found the time to do a Thirsty Bear & Hungry Snake strip.  Mostly, it was videos this year as I work my way through my remaining VHS tapes.  I have a few more left.  If there are any good performances from my old bands and whatnot, then I will share them here.  I also will be devoting quite a bit of time to my new novel, Edna's Employment Agency, which should be released next year.  Beyond that, we will have to see what the year holds.  If you missed anything this year, please just use the sidebar dates to check them out.  See you . . . next decade (only get to say that once a decade)!  In the meantime though, please feel free to take this 1980 Ziggy ornament off my hands . . .

And from the longest night of the year, I bid you a cool Yule!  In 2018, this site pumped my latest novel, presented a few new songs, had The Thirsty Bear and Hungry Snake make an appearance, announced some new readings and publications, featured some videos of my old bands, and showcased some miscellaneous news and nonsense.  For 2019, I have lined up some poems, another new song, more videos of my old bands, and some other fun.  I will see you then!

Happy 2016 & Cool Yule!

I hope that we have a cool Yule and a Happy 2016!  I will be marking down the days using my Keith Knight calendar.  Last year, it was Mutts, which was fitting for a year in which I spent a lot of time with a cat and a dog.  I am excited to see what the next year will bring.  I have a few fun projects in the works.  I hope that you do as well.  Cheers!

Cool Yule 2013!

Well, we've nearly made it through another year.  As Opus demonstrates in the picture, it's time to celebrate that fact by stuffing ice cubes down our underwear.

Hmm . . . since I'm not a penguin, maybe I'll just drink some eggnog instead.  I wish you a cool Yule however you choose to celebrate the season and cheer yourself up as the days grow shorter in the Northern Hemisphere*!

*Within reason, of course, please don't do anything too crazy such as chopping down a tree to celebrate life.
